WELCOME

For the past several years my husband and I have traveled all around the world both for pleasure and business.  During that time we have learned many hard lessons and had some incredible experiences.  We are both curious people who love to travel, and we determined that while we were still in good health, we would take the time and the money to see the world.

Let's be perfectly clear.  Travel is risky;  there are always issues to be dealt with when you venture into a new country and culture.  If you are totally risk aversed, you probably are well advised to stick close to home.  However, if you are willing to navigate the interstate highways in your area, you can certainly do the same in Italy or Thailand. 

We certainly have not been everywhere, but with 45 countries and nearly three hundred cities under our belt, we have some stories to share.

 

The plan for this blog is to do overviews of my favorite countries (limited by the number of available pages for this blog.  On the City Highlights page, I am developing specific guidlines for larger cities that will be helpful to you as you plan to go to that city.  There will be a nominal fee for the PDF files which I will send to you via email.  If you are planning travel in the near future, you can certainly leave me a post and I will hurry along that specific City Highlight.
